Manage your batteries can last the use-time of your laptops, but you should treat it seriously.I even have a experience about Sony PCGA-BP2NX and I scroop ,so I want to notice that who is or are eager to manage laptop batteries,”BE CAREFUL”,that’s my suggestions.Generally speaking, batteries live longer if treated in a gentle manner. High charge voltages, excessive charge rate and extreme load conditions will have a negative effect and shorten the battery life. This also applies to high current rate lithium-ion batteries.

Not only is it better to charge lithium-ion battery at a slower charge rate HP 530 battery, high discharge rates also contribute the extra wear and tear. Figure 3 shows the cycle life as a function of charge and discharge rates. Observe the good laboratory performance if the battery is charged and discharged at 1C. (A 0.5C charge and discharge would further improve this rating.)

Windows only software Battery Care helps the user manage laptop batteries in a better way by providing detailed information and advanced functionality that the operating system does not offer. The program is compatible with most Microsoft operating systems including the soon to be released Windows 7. Basic details are provided in the applications main window. This includes the remaining battery capacity, the remaining dell inspiron 1721 battery time, the battery status, battery charge cycles and the cpu temperature of the laptop.

It is easy to switch to detailed information which add information about the total, designed and active capacity of the laptop in mWh, the charge and discharge rate of the laptop battery, the tension, wear level and last calibration date.
